Skiing in Colorado

We went to Colorado to see family. Grandpa Mark and Grandma Peggy live in Silt, CO just outside of Glenwood Springs. We had a blast....the kids went sledding, swimming, they flew in grandpa's plane, and skiied 3 days at the local ski resort--Ski Sunlight! We came back exhausted.
Daddy and Jack at the top of the mountain for the first time! Jack had not quite mastered turning or stopping for that matter.....about half way down Chris had to step out in front of Jack to save him from going into the woods......Jack ended up with a bloody nose. That was the only injury until he fell down the stairs in the lodge on the last day......
Day 1, ready to ski.....

We were glad to have gotten a good deal on Liam's snowsuit because he wore it for a total of 20 minutes.....not a fan of the snow clothes.

Liam and Jack outside of Grandpa and Grandma's house--what a view!

Jack and Grandpa at the house

Jack, Liam, and great-grandma Nancy--almost 80!

Chris, Dominick, Jack, and Grandpa on the top of the mountain.

Grandpa and Jack headed up to UTE the longest run in Colorado.

Jack, Donovan, and Dominick (cousins)

In the lodge just before skiing

Jack was the co- pilot in grandpa's plane (only for about 15minutes becuase mommy was freaking out!)

Grandpa and Jack just before take off!

The third year and finally no harnesses!!!! They actually graduated from their ski tippers this year too!

They finally learned how to turn rather than just go straight down the mountain on day 3. This video was cut short because of the snowboarder that was unresponsive.......I thought it would be poor form for me to just leave him there while I kept taking home video's.....

The tree trails.......this is a big step. Not much left to conquer.....well I guess there is always the snowboard!

I thought I was done putting video's on here, but Chris wanted one with him in it, showing off his skills on the slopes.....
